How I Create Each Episode

Today I talk about podcasting, and why consistency is key to a successful podcast. And I'm continuing my series on creating an online business.

I also explain why I believe a podcast is an awesome platform for supporting your business and growing your tribe. And, I walk through the process I follow to produce each successful podcast episode.

Finally, I provide information about a dozen tools that I use to create a professional-sounding show, and the course that I purchased to walk me through the entire process.

But first, let's thank our sponsor, the UT PEMBA.

Our Sponsor

We're proud to have the University of Tennessee Physician Executive MBA Program, offered by the Haslam College of Business, as the sponsor of this podcast.

The UT PEMBA is the longest-running, and most highly respected physician-only MBA in the country, with over 650 graduates. Unlike other programs, which typically run 1 – 1/2 to 2 years, this program only takes a year to complete. And Economist Magazine recently ranked the business school #1 in the world for the Most Relevant Executive MBA.

While in the program, you'll participate in a company project, thereby contributing to your organization. Consequently, University of Tennessee PEMBA students bring exceptional value to their organizations.

Graduates have taken leadership positions at major healthcare organizations. And they've become entrepreneurs and business owners.

By joining the University of Tennessee physician executive MBA, you will develop the business and management skills you need to advance your career. To find out more, contact Dr. Kate Atchley’s office by calling (865) 974-6526 or go to vitalpe.net/physicianmba.

Podcasting Course I Recommend

Learning how to plan, organize, record, edit, post and promote a successful podcast can be a daunting process. Therefor, it helps immensely to find a course and mentor to help walk you through the process.

I completed Pat Flynn's Power-Up-Podcasting course two years ago. It enabled me to cut through any confusion I had and get my show up in a couple of months. While it's possible to patch something together using free online articles and videos, if you want to create a highly professional podcast, while avoiding dozens of common mistakes, this course is worthy of consideration.

To find out more about the course, including an overview and a list of FAQs and detailed description of the lessons, check out the updated course at Power Up Podcasting 2.0. Or click the button below:

Note that I am an “Affiliate” for the course. As an affiliate for Pat Flynn and Smart Passive Income, I receive compensation if you purchase through this link, but the price to you is not affected.

Another option is to download Pat Flynn's FREE Podcast Cheat Sheet which will walk you through the basic steps of creating a podcast. It provides a link to a free webinar and ultimately to the PUP course itself.
